Dr. Mortimer worked in the Detroit area for 6 years before moving to East Lansing and purchasing East Lansing Veterinary Clinic (formerly Hagadorn Veterinary Clinic) in October 1995. He expanded and moved to the current location in September 2001. His special interests in Veterinary Medicine include Dentistry, Internal Medicine, General Surgery, and Dermatology.

He lives in Okemos with his wife, 1 cat, and 2 dogs. His hobbies include bird watching, hiking, travel, and reading.
